Matelda Coffee ("we", "us", "our") operates the website mateldacoffee.com and sells premium instant coffee to customers in Pakistan and internationally. Our registered place of business is Plot No. 21/A2, Hamid Hussain Farooqi Rd, Block 2 PECHS, Karachi 74500, Pakistan. We only collect information that helps us process your order, support you afterwards and improve the store.

• Personal information: your name, delivery address, billing address, email address and phone number, provided when you place an order, create an account or contact us.
• Order information: the products you buy, order value, order history, delivery preferences and any notes you send with an order.
• Payment information: we do not see, store or process your full card or bank details. Payments are handled by our payment processor and Shopify Checkout; we receive only a transaction reference, the payment status, the payment method type and the last digits of the instrument where the processor shares them.
• Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed and time on page, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
• Communications: messages you send through our contact form, WhatsApp, email or social media, plus our replies.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use strictly necessary cookies to keep your cart and session working, preference cookies to remember choices such as selected blend or size, and analytics and marketing cookies described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block strictly necessary cookies, the cart and checkout may stop working.

Our store and checkout run on Shopify. Shopify processes order, customer and payment data on our behalf as a service provider, and provides us with aggregated store analytics such as sessions, conversion rate, and sales by product. Shopify may also place cookies needed for cart, checkout and fraud prevention. Shopify's own privacy practices are published at shopify.com/legal/privacy.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site — for example which pages are read and which blends attract the most interest. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives a truncated IP address, page URLs and interaction events. We do not send names, email addresses or payment details to Google Analytics. You can opt out site-wide using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure the performance of our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have shown interest in Matelda. The pixel may record page views, product views, add-to-cart events and completed purchases, and may match these to your Meta account where you have one. You can control ad personalisation in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address and subscription date so we can send brewing guides, new blend announcements and occasional offers. We send marketing email only with your consent. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you by writing to support@mateldacoffee.com. We do not sell or rent our mailing list.

We share the minimum data required with service providers who help us run the business:

• Shopify — store hosting, checkout and order management.
• Payment processors and banks — to authorise and settle your payment.
• Courier and logistics partners — your name, address and phone number, so your order can be delivered and tracked.
• Email and messaging providers — to send order confirmations, shipping updates and newsletters.
• Analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta) — as described above.

These providers may process data outside Pakistan. We share data only for the purposes listed here, and never sell your personal information. We may also disclose information where required by Pakistani law or a lawful order from a competent authority.

The site is served over HTTPS, and checkout and payment pages are encrypted in transit. Access to order and customer data is limited to team members who need it to fulfil orders or provide support. We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax and warranty purposes, and newsletter records until you unsubscribe. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a breach affects your data we will act promptly and inform you where appropriate.

You may, at any time:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your account and personal information, where we are not required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
• Withdraw consent for marketing email, or object to analytics and advertising cookies.
• Ask us to restrict processing while a request or complaint is being resolved.

Email support@mateldacoffee.com with your request and the order number or email address used, and we will respond within thirty days.

Our store is intended for customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as our store, tools or legal obligations change. The revised version is published on this page with a new "last updated" date, and material changes are announced on the site.
